For rondaview: A three-part picture post to show you the love that is Steven Gerrard and Xabi Alonso, because you're ever-so-willing. ;;) ♥. If you actually want facts and info, tell me as well, because this is just, you know, the shallow. :x A big thank you to of_doom and many others for posting pictures and caps.
(Note: the other two entries are backdated.)
( Part one: Xabi Alonso )
Part two: Steven Gerrard. Part three: Stevie/Xabi.

And now for the pictorial evidence. :x A half-heartedly chronological documentation. (Read: one girl realizing holy shit the gay and subsequently posting enough pictures to freeze browsers.)
Part one: Xabi Alonso. Part two: Steven Gerrard.
( +56. )
I hope you enjoyed it, rondaview darling. ♥. I have far too much time on my hands.

I told lovedoesthat that I would, and here it is. Massive football (soccer) picture post to celebrate the end of my SATs! Life has just gotten a million times better.
Random Spain pictures below - I've tried to avoid posting any that I've already seen around; forgive me if I do! I randomly collect images from all over the place, so.
( Spanish boys, oh. Team arriving at the beginning of training. +12. )
( Training, press conferences, etc. Featuring Pernia's fantastic Roman nose, the team singing (:-?), and more. Most of the pictures aren't too large, though, so don't worry about browser-freezing sizes. :> +34. )
( Spain U-21 against the Germans! (or is it U-19?) Oh my god, Barragan is so cute. +4. )
( Kaka cut his hair. He looks about 10. +2. )
( Stevie being a total dork. +4. )
( Old-ish photos of Mark Gonzalez from the Ireland match. +5. )
( Random Xabi - suits, fan encounters, and a lovely retro red shirt. +7. )
( Sergio Aguero! +1. )
I don't think that Peter Crouch quite understands the phenomenon that he's started. I really don't. But Do the Crouch is quite possibly the best website ever. Welcome back the Robot, ladies and gentlemen.

( One more of Villa and his very pink shirt. )

( more of stevie at the PFA awards. some of these are slightly hilarious. )
okay, but the real reason i updated was because of this article. i felt bad updating with only text, though!
Kewell, who plays for Liverpool in the English Premier League, has been selected by design legend Giorgio Armani to appear in a World Cup photo shoot.
He will line up alongside France's Patrick Vieira, Ukraine's Andriy Shevchenko, Brazilian star Kaka and Kewell's Spanish Liverpool teammate, Xabi Alonso.
"Stars are myths, and footballers are modern myths," Armani said of the project. "But they are myths that live closer to their public than anyone else."
The players will be photographed in outfits from 1970s and '80s cult films including American Gigolo and Shaft, movies in which Armani dressed the actors.
"Mr Armani's concept is to depict the footballers as characters in Hollywood films from the 1970s," Armani spokesperson Anna Matthews said.
!!! UH, HELLO. somebody better scan this baby when it comes out, aslfjlsdjf. for real, people. do not make me sneak onto a plane to italy to get one. i'm dying over here. although harry better get rid of that ponytail by then. why armani would pick vieira as a model out of all the famous footballers out there is beyond me, but that's okay.
but, seriously. KAKA AND SHEVA ( astonish!!!). XABI. IN AMERICAN GIGOLO STYLE CLOTHING. please let this happen, and please let me get my hands on wallpaper-sized scans. *_*
back to SAT II studying. T_T

Rafa, Xabi, Luis, Moro and Pepe did an interview with Cadena Ser last night. I downloaded the podcast and uploaded the interviews as mp3s - part one and part two. Some fantastic person did a translation of the interview here, and, funnily enough, there were links to my uploads! I feel like I've done some small fannish duty here. :x
The interview itself is pretty brilliant; I could understand snippets here and there but the transcript makes things much easier. There are a lot of pretty hilarious stories and quips and swearing, I adore them. Rafa talked about getting fatter. The interviewer obliquely compared Xabi to Beckham. T_T Luis talked about crashing his car and his Scouse speaking dog. Moro singing! ♥. It's a very casual, chatty sort of interview, which is great.
Nicked off the flist - apparently, the Basque government plotted secretly for weeks and flew a three starred Michelin chef over to Liverpool to cook Xabi a surprise banquet in appreciation. *_* Article here. Cuuuute.

I have to say that I appreciate Xabi's fondness for grey and black.
( A few random things about the Real Madrid - Sevilla match. )

Football (well, not North American football, but what Americans call soccer) has taken over my life recently, so I felt that I should share my utter adoration for the beautiful game with all of you guys. :)) And, in particular, a certain team known as Liverpool FC. This spam will be extremely image-heavy and filled with multimedia links and gorgeous Spanish boys, so be warned!
Before any of that, though, one massive and all consuming ♥ to givemehistory. I don't know what else to say! :x THANK YOU AND I LOVE YOU OKAY. For niche, because tag team corruption is fun, and one_if_by_land once college apps are done.
( There are places I'll remember, all my life. )
ALSO. Visit this post for celebratory piles and a lot of alsadjfl;sjdfd, okay? ♥. And if any of the video links expires, just drop me a line and I'll gladly reupload.
